First Hotel River C is located by the river Klarälven, next to Karlstad CCC congress centre. As soon as you enter the hotel, you will note the warm, personal atmosphere. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel.

First Hotel River C was constructed in 2013. However, there has been a hotel at this location since the 1970s, a building that was purchased in 2010 by four entrepreneurs with a local presence in Karlstad.
In 2011, Karlstad CCC opened its doors as a new landmark. With its outstanding riverside location, the centre is a great place for meetings, large and small.
When the present hotel opened in February 2013, the hotel restaurant opened to serve classic and flavoursome cuisine.
In February 2015, the hotel became part of the First Hotels portfolio.
