Pride 2019 is coming up!

Across the Nordic countries, a new city each week celebrates diversity, love, and belonging by bringing the cultural expression of the LGBTIQ community to the streets. Listen to music, dance the night away, watch powerful theatre productions, immerse yourself in visual arts and design and just have fun!

Are you attending Pride in one - or more - of the Nordic cities this year? Make yourself at home in one of our centrally located First Hotels, from Bergen to Aalborg to Gothenburg. A new week, a new celebration, a new Pride.

Here’s a short overview of Nordic cities that celebrate Pride, and our hotels in the city.

Oslo Pride 2019

Norway

Bergen Pride will fill the city between the 7 mountains with colours from 1 – 8 June 2019.
Stay at First Hotel Bergen Marin on Bryggen and be close to the party. Pride Parade on 8 June.

Join Oslo Pride from 14 – 23 June 2019 - Norway's largest festival for the LGBTIQ population. Enjoy concerts, art exhibitions, parties, shows, and debates around the capital. Check-in at First Hotel Grims Grenka or First Hotel Millennium to be in the center of the action. Pride Parade on 22 June. 

Ålesund Pride starts 26 August – 1 September. Stay at First Hotel Atlantica for the best location! Pride Parade on 31 August at 14:00 from Rådhuspladsen.

Copenhagen Pride 2019

Denmark

Aarhus Pride fills the City of Smiles on 1 June 2019, and The parade starts at Bispetorvet. Stay at First Hotel Atlantic and be close to the festivities.  

Copenhagen Pride welcomes you to a week filled with glitter, feathers and rainbow flags. Celebrate love and diversity in the Danish capital from 13 – 18 August. Stay at First Hotel Twentyseven, First Hotel Mayfair or First Hotel Kong Frederik, all in the heart of the city and the perfect base for Pride in Copenhagen. Pride parade 17 August

Aalborg Pride returns to the city on 13 July. Celebrate the diversity, stay at First Hotel Aalborg in the centre of the city.

Pride Stockholm 2019

Sweden

Karlskrona welcomes you to join its Pride festival from 27 May – 2 June filled with festivities and lectures. Stay at First Hotel JA or First Hotel Statt Karlskrona and enjoy being close to the festival. 

Söderhamn Pride starts 3 June and ends 9 June and was the first Pride festival in Gävleborg. For the sixth time in a row, the city will be painted in rainbow colours and festivities. Check in at First Hotel Statt Söderhamn, the official pride hotel in the city. Halmstad's Pride Festival fills the streets of the city on 8 June with plenty of activities. Make a trip out of it and stay at First Hotel Mårtenson in the heart of the city. 

West Pride returns to Gothenburg from 12 June – 16 June to celebrate love, diversity and each other. The festival offers artworks, cultural activities, great parties, and a fun parade. Stay at First Hotel G and be near the party! Pride Parade on 15 June.

Kristianstad celebrates Pride 27 - 30 June. Join the party - stay at First Hotel Christian IV in the heart of the city.  

Helsingborg Pride covers the streets in rainbow colours 29 – 30 June. Book your stay at First Hotel Kärnan in the center of Helsingborg. 

Pride 2019

Sweden

Sundsvall Pride festival begins 30 June and ends with a blast at the Pride Parade 6 July. Stay at First Hotel Strand when celebrating!

Malmö Pride joins the people once again from 18 – 20 July, with the Pride Parade on 20 July. Join the party and stay at First Hotel Jörgen Kock. 

Scandinavia's largest Pride Festival is kicked off in Stockholm on 29 July. The week-long celebration includes parties, seminars, concerts and much more, and ends with the Pride Parade on 3 August. Stay at one of our hotels during your visit. Choose between First Hotel Reisen, First Hotel Kungsbron, First Hotel Norrtull, First Hotel Fridhemsplan in the centre, or First Hotel Solna and First Hotel Brommaplan just about 20 minutes from the centre of Stockholm. 

Welcome to Säffle Pride on 17 August and be a part of the festivities! Stay at First Hotel Royal in the city. 

Skövde Pride takes place on 27 September. Stay at First Hotel Billingehus. 

Iceland

Reykjavik Pride welcomes you to a fabulous pride! To mark the country’s twentieth Pride anniversary, the festival will run for marvelous ten days starting on 8 August and ending with the Pride Parade on 17 August. Stay at First Hotel Reykjavik Kópavogur just a bit outside the hustle and bustle of the city.
