Shopping

Falun Mine - Mining Museum and World Heritage House
Visit the world's best-preserved mining landscape, which was once the world's largest copper mine. Today, it is part of the Falun World Heritage Site. Explore the 1000 years of history at Falun Mine by taking a guided tour underground. The site is home to both the Mining Museum and Sweden’s highest bridge.
Leksand Sommarland
The Leksand Sommarland resort offers not only carousels but also a track with fast go-karts and a wonderful pool complex featuring slides, rapids and a freefall. There are more than 80 activities for all the family.
Carl Larsson’s House
The artist Carl Larsson lived and worked at Lilla Hyttnäs farm in the village of Sundborn, just outside Falun. The farm has been in the Larsson family for generations and under the oversight of world famous artist couple Carl and Karin Larsson, the farm blossomed into the well-known place it is today. Gain unique insight into the house and home in which the family lived and worked on your visit. Carl Larsson’s house is a home that has become a model over the years for not only Swedish interior design but also family life.
Orsa Rovdjurspark
Orsa Rovdjurspark is Europe’s biggest predator park. Here you can find animals including bears, tigers, snow leopard, lynx, wolves, wolverines and eagle owls. The animals live in large protected enclosures located in natural forest environments. There are also multiple playgrounds and educational zones throughout the park that make it possible to play your way to acquiring new knowledge about the animals and their environment.
Dalhalla
Dalhalla is located outside Rättvik and is home to a unique, spectacular outdoor stage in the middle of Dalarna’s forests. The old limestone quarry fascinates audiences and artists alike, and few concert venues can compete with its magnificent setting in the midst of nature. The setting and atmosphere contribute to extraordinary concert experiences. Dalhalla is one of the mightiest, most beautiful concert venues in Europe.
