The season from June-September is perfect for hiking, whale watching, kayaking and fishing. All year round, you can venture out on guided city walks in Nuuk and experience everyday life and age-old heritage.

    In Greenlandic, "kayak" means a "hunter’s boat." Nuuk Fjord is the world’s second-largest fjord and a perfect place to experience this centuries-old Greenlandic tradition – without hunting. On the guided kayaking tour, there will be plenty of photo opportunities and scenic views to the city, coast and open nature.

    The area around Nuuk is perfect for alpine skiing. Here you can stand atop a mountain and feel the adrenaline rush as you ski at full speed through the powdered snow.
