Gym in Umeå and sauna at the hotel

At the hotel, we know the importance of exercise. Many of our guests enjoy to workout and keeping in good shape, even when they are attending a conference, a business trip or just enjoying a nice weekend in Umeå.

That is why we have partnered with Legendary Gym in central Umeå, located a short way from the hotel. At the hotel, we also have our own relaxation and wellness area including a sauna, and an ‘ice bucket shower’ for those who dare to try it.

The wellness area is free to use for our guests. Enjoy!

Relax in the Wellness Area

Enjoy some peace and quiet in the wellness area after a long day with meetings, conference or other adventures in Umeå and its surroundings. 

Try the ice bucket shower. Did you know it's considered as an effective hydrotherapy treatment? Use the ice bucket right after the sauna for the best effects. The hotter your body is, the more beneficial the cold shower is. This contrast hydrotherapy treatment:

  • strengthens your immune system
  • increases your metabolism
  • reduces stress
  • rejuvenates skin health
  • improves well-being in general

NB! Not recommended for anyone suffering from cardiovascular conditions or high blood pressure. Pregnant women should be cautious.

As a hotel guest, you can work out in Legendary Gym; a 1500 sqm gym where you will find the best equipment from leading brands such as L+K, Hammer Strenght, Eleiko. You will not be dissapointed! 

The expenses for hotel guests is 100 SEK per day.
